Colours
How the colours are used
Red is the university's main colour and is used in the logo. This colour should always be used at 100% colour intensity. To reflect the university's dynamism and breadth, there are seven additional secondary colours in a total of 23 shades. All colours may be used alone and be dominant. However, they should be used to such an extent and in such a way that Malmö University remains clearly identifiable as the sender and the profile's consistency is maintained.
To ensure that our communication is accessible, it is important to take into account the contrast between text and background colour. If the contrast is too low, the recipient may have difficulty reading the text. Approved contrast values are specified in the text below. If you wish to use other text colours from our palette, you are responsible for ensuring that the correct contrast values are maintained.
