Presentation
I have two main areas of research: Sport history and sport management. In sport history I'm currently working sport in Greenland in a historical perspective and skiing in Denmark. In sport management/contemporary sport history I work on the emergence of the bundled sport event as case of event innovation in sport, the sustainability of bundled events and the rise of SM-veckan in Sweden and its spread to Scandinavia.
Main teaching obligations are mainly related to courses on methodology, principles of sport management and events on the sport science bachelor at the Department for Sport Sciences.
Research interests: international sport events, history of sport, sports media, the role of politics in sport and sports and sustainability.
