Presentation

I am interested in what is often referred to as ‘non-media-centric media research’, which in my case takes two forms: firstly, ‘grey media studies’, i.e. media technologies and media practices related to work, administration and information management; and secondly, the complex relationships between media, everyday life, place and mobility. Recently I have worked in a research project on co-working spaces (funded by the Swedish Research Council) and will soon be launching the project ‘The Office of Tomorrow over 100 Years: Technology and Work in Office Advertising 1880–1980’ (funded by the Ridderstad Foundation).
